El cap\u00edtulo sobre Paraguay fue realizado por el Centro de Estudios He\u00f1\u00f3i.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El informe representa un estudio comparativo sobre la conflictiva din\u00e1mica social, econ\u00f3mica y pol\u00edtica que se desarroll\u00f3 durante el a\u00f1o 2019 en torno al control de la tierra y el territorio en los distintos pa\u00edses, los avances y retrocesos observados, las luchas campesinas e ind\u00edgenas, los cambios en pol\u00edticas p\u00fablicas y leyes. En este informe, se propone que la\u00a0<em>\u201cDeclaraci\u00f3n de las Naciones Unidas sobre los derechos de los campesinos y otras personas que trabajan en zonas rurales\u201d,<\/em>\u00a0aprobada en diciembre del 2018, se convierta en una herramienta de seguimiento a las pol\u00edticas p\u00fablicas y situaci\u00f3n de la poblaci\u00f3n campesina, al tiempo de invitar a lograr su ratificaci\u00f3n legal en cada uno de los pa\u00edses de la regi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El cap\u00edtulo sobre Paraguay da cuenta del proceso de continuidad de la hegemon\u00eda de los agronegocios y sus cr\u00edticas consecuencias, como la enorme concentraci\u00f3n de tierras y la creciente destrucci\u00f3n ambiental. Adem\u00e1s de la inexistente pol\u00edtica de tierras desde el Estado para los sectores campesino e ind\u00edgena, en el periodo analizado se ha destacado la gran cantidad de desalojos registrados, unos 30, tanto en zonas rurales como urbanas, que han afectado a unas 28 mil personas.
