{"id":622,"date":"2018-08-14T11:58:38","date_gmt":"2018-08-14T11:58:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/henoi.org.py\/?p=622"},"modified":"2022-05-12T17:59:11","modified_gmt":"2022-05-12T20:59:11","slug":"la-voluntad-campesina-para-enfrentar-la-adversidad","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/henoi.org.py\/index.php\/2018\/08\/14\/la-voluntad-campesina-para-enfrentar-la-adversidad\/","title":{"rendered":"La Voluntad Campesina para Enfrentar la Adversidad"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>El campesinado latinoamericano en general, y el paraguayo en particular, viene soportando desde los a\u00f1os setenta, una verdadera pol\u00edtica integral de hostigamiento, asfixia y expulsi\u00f3n de sus comunidades, a ra\u00edz de la implementaci\u00f3n de una modernizaci\u00f3n agr\u00edcola excluyente, que enarbol\u00f3 la revoluci\u00f3n verde, los agrot\u00f3xicos y la mecanizaci\u00f3n de monocultivos como bandera del desarrollo. <!--more-->Quienes hab\u00edan alimentado a la humanidad durante siglos, los campesinos y los ind\u00edgenas, fueron acusados desde los centros de poder, de ser improductivos y atrasados, y no se justificaba que sigan ocupando tierras en el mundo rural, que deb\u00edan transferirse hacia los agronegocios.<\/p>\n<p>Comunidades rurales enteras han desaparecido en estas d\u00e9cadas, otras han resistido parcialmente, cediendo parte de sus tierras, permaneciendo en territorios reducidos. \u00c9ste es el caso de la Comunidad San Miguel, del distrito de Minga Por\u00e1, al norte del departamento de Alto Paran\u00e1.<\/p>\n<p>Uno de sus primeros pobladores fue Ger\u00f3nimo Ar\u00e9valos, quien con unos 250 campesinos y campesinas, ocuparon en 1989 un latifundio exigiendo un pedazo de tierra. Fueron violentamente desalojados tres veces, varios imputados, pero dada su tenaz voluntad de lucha, lograron arrancar al gobierno 500 hect\u00e1reas.
