The Center for the Study and Promotion of Democracy, Human Rights and Socio-environmental Sustainability, aims to develop research, training, awareness-raising, and support activities for the subjects and social and political movements of Paraguay that promote human rights, the expansion of citizen participation, the strengthening of public institutions and community organization, the promotion of socioeconomic and environmental sustainability, aiming toward the creation of a more participatory democracy, connected with the integration processes of the region and oriented to the enjoyment of a better quality of life for the population of the country. It directs its actions primarily to the formation of a critical citizenry, in the construction of an equitable, supportive society, respectful of human rights and nature.
